Get to Know Kayla

Hi! My name is Mikealla, but my friends just call me Kayla. I was born and raised in California, but I traded in the West Coast sunshine for the bright lights of New York City.

If the sentence “I’m down” were a person, it would absolutely be me. Whether it’s booking a spontaneous trip across the world, running a half marathon on a whim, dressing up just to take Instagram photos, staying out until 3 AM to find the afters, or attempting a 24-step recipe my friends sent me on TikTok, I’m always up for it. I love trying new things, meeting new people, and jumping into any moment that feels genuine.

With roots in theatre and a communications degree from the University of Southern California, being in front of the camera has always felt natural. That background eventually led me into content creation, where I get to blend creativity, storytelling, and connection every day. Now, I create content that reflects my world: beauty and makeup routines, NYC lifestyle moments, travel adventures, food finds, and the occasional chaotic night out. My goal is to bring people along for the ride as their virtual best friend, through content that’s aesthetic, relatable, energetic, and always a little adventure-filled.
